Well, I guess it is time to finally admit it.....we just DON'T like Wellington. This is our third stop here....and we have struck out again! The "windy Wellington" weather is in full force. We walk to the nearest McDonald's because we were told they have free wifi.....except that it is not working today (probably not tomorrow nor yesterday either!)
This is Tom's "long black" (espresso with hot water, as opposed to a "short black" which is just espresso) Served in a REAL cup and BROUGHT to your table! But it cost $5.00!!!!
We passed Tom Fieldstead on the way....actually, this gentleman stopped us to see if he could help....we were looking for another wifi spot. We finally found one.....stayed there 5 HOURS!! blogging while the rain and wind battered the streets....finally paid the shuttle fee of $20 to return to the ship.....we just haven't found any charm in NZ's capital.
